2018 Jet Camp

  With the 20 18 Jet Camp reaching the half way point, it’s a great time to reflect on what has Been learned over the past 2 days. The group of 12 young attendees had to hit the ground running, arriving at the Woodman Point Recreational Centre first thing Monday morning and then board the commuter bus to head to the Western Australian Institute of Sport. This was a tough introduction  to the camp as not many of the participants knew each other and were given very little time to familiarise themselves with each other.

Motorcycling WA are pleased to announce Reece Tucknott and Sarah Tucknott as presenters for our 2018 JET Camp. 

Reece and Sarah will be presenting the mountain biking skills session, followed by a Q&A session with camp attendees. Reece and Sarah have just returned from racing in Canada and the United States. Reece has a plethora of State and National MTB Championships to his name and has represented Australia on several occasions at the World MTB XC Championships. Sarah is just as handy on two wheels having won a number of State titles and has also competed at several Aussie Championships. For their young years both athletes have so much experience and knowledge to share about the highs and lows of winning, dealing with injury and disappointment, and finding the perfect balance in life to becoming an elite athlete.
